What does a student trip cost in 2027? The complete price guide

A student trip to Croatia in 2027 costs from around SEK 6,900 per person — and that includes return flights, accommodation or boat, checked baggage, transfers and breakfast. That's the most important difference from many of the "from" prices you'll see for student trips: with many organisers, flights, baggage and transfers are added on top of the advertised price. This guide walks you through what our trips actually cost, what's included, and how payment works.

All prices are per person and include return flights from Stockholm, Gothenburg or Copenhagen, checked baggage, accommodation or boat berth, transfers where stated, plus breakfast and group leader support on site.
What's included — and what's not?
When you compare student trips, what's included matters more than the headline price. Our package trips normally include:
- Return flights from your chosen departure city
- Checked baggage
- Accommodation according to your trip — your own place in Split, or a boat with skipper
- Transfers between the airport and your accommodation or harbour where stated
- Breakfast (on Seglingsveckan, lunch too)
- Group leader support from Studentresor throughout the trip
What's not included: personal expenses, some meals, nightlife and optional activities and add-ons. Always check the "What's included" section on the trip you're looking at.
Why prices vary
Departure date and demand. Peak-season weeks cost the most. Book early and you'll have the widest choice of dates, accommodation and boats — at the lowest prices.
Accommodation or boat. On Splitveckan, the standard and location of your accommodation affects the price; on the sailing trips you choose between sailing boats and catamarans of different sizes and price levels.
Departure city. We fly from Stockholm, Gothenburg and Copenhagen — prices can differ slightly between them.
How do you pay? Instalments included
You don't pay for the whole trip at once. The payment plan adapts to how far ahead you book:
- More than 120 days before departure: 40% when you book, 30% no later than 90 days before, and the remaining 30% no later than 30 days before departure
- 61–120 days before departure: 50% when you book and the remaining 50% no later than 30 days before
- 60 days or less before departure: the full amount when you book

Budget: what should you expect in total?
On top of the trip price, a reasonable spending budget for a week in Split is around SEK 2,000, depending on how often you eat out and which activities you join. Croatia is still good value: dinner often costs around SEK 150, with local transport and ice cream priced accordingly. Many groups start planning 6–12 months before departure — that means lower prices and more time to save up.

Are flights included?
Yes. Return flights from your chosen departure city are always included in our package trips, as is checked baggage.
When is it cheapest to book?
Early. The selection is at its widest and prices at their lowest when booking opens — and the payment plan spreads the cost over a longer period.
Can we book as a group and pay individually?
Yes. For classes, student unions and committees we set up a dedicated registration page where every traveller fills in their own details and pays their own share.
Is the trip protected if something happens?
Yes. All our package trips are covered by a travel guarantee through the Danish travel guarantee fund Rejsegarantifonden (Studentlife Nordics ApS, reg. no. 3866). We also always recommend private travel insurance.
